the vast majority of people are mad as hell because they feel they were played. it's not a shock that people are upset that dan didn't win, he was clearly better. I wouldn't call that whiny, I call that pissed off. come on mancave, you can relate.

so disappointed with the integrity of this show. I've been trying very hard to not buy into the thought that there was a fix from the beginning. but after lonnie was let go instead of antonio, my opinion changed. I don't care about his appearance or his gruff exterior, he may be the nicest guy in the world, but he is NOT a designer. HGTV has lost a loyal viewer.

I believe I heard the contractor quote $10,600 for the pergola and the concrete. If so the pergola did not cost $10,000, if not what was the budget for that massive concrete deck and where did that fit into the budget?

Torie was team leader, Antonio took charge and the overall result of this challenge was mediocre at best. I think it's a no brainer who should have gone home. The judges got it right.

Antonio's room had so much potential. He's extremely creative, but he's not a designer. The room was to heavy, plus there were to many saturated colors. Framing the window with rocks was a great idea, but once he made it the headboard for the bed it went downhill. I think Dan is this seasons best complete package, but was disappointed with this challenge's final result. Jason was a train wreck from the beginning, Tori seems to be to uptight, Lonnie is the most accomplished designer but not "Design Starish". I thought this challenge was going to show some real talent, but alas, it didn't happen.

As with most of the "posters" that agree with your convoluted thinking, you have taken the situation totally out of context. Taschica placed herself, as did the others, in a judgmental environment. Shame on you for twisting history to suit your claim.

Thank you for the posting and answering the comment on Vern Yip. Mr. Yip clearly did not deserve the personal attacks on him and his fellow judges. What I witnessed, and I'm sure most clear thinking people witnessed, was a fair cancellation of Taschica's show.
