The russian families are interesting.... HUGE families... all nine kids get free exams and the state free glasses, then they fork out tons of cash for colored contacts and designer frames. We also get lots of pregnant mexican women that cant speak english. All come in for their free stuff. After insurance, my part was $4000 for a few hour stay and a minor problem. The man in the next bed over that did not speak much english and had no health insurance was told by the hospital advocate.... you dont need to worry about the bill. It will be covered. I thought to myself........yes it will...... by me. Our system is messed up. Because I have a job, pay taxes, pay for insurance.... I get to pay more. The guy who does not work gets free medical, free housing, free food, his kids probably get free education, etc. Just doesnt seem right. I work in the medical field. It amazes me how many people get free medical. Actually...its not free. WE working people pay their way. Im just tired of it. Done venting.
