This is incredible. Found the discussion late, but am glad it had a good resolution. I used to go round and round with an official from my village when I flew a flag with my store name on it - violation because it wasn't something I was selling. He was pretty relentless. I solved it by flying the American flag. Luckily for us it was written into the ordinance as allowed. Of course I would have flown it anyways.
