Perhaps they do need this, we do not know their situtation. It says she is starting a medical practice, which probably means she recently finished a residency or fellowship and is hundreds of thousands of dollars in dept. Average dept for a new doctor is $158,000 (source: http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/07/28/the-hidd.... Starting a practice isn't cheap either (overhead costs of staff, space, equiptment, etc). She invested years into school (4 years undergrad, 4 years medical, 3-6 years residency/fellowship). They need it in their own way so I'm happy for them. :) Congrats!

Hi Beth,

Thanks for your comment. Above you will see that I say "primal" treat/fare/indulgence - when I initially started this blog I was Paleo (title of blog), but as I read more and listened to my body I incorporated dairy into it (see Mark's Daily Apple/Primal Blueprint). Sorry for the confusion on this, but it was too late for me to change the title of the blog once I went the Primal route.

Also, I did go 30+ days strict paleo and reincorporating dairy back into my diet didn't negatively effect me, but that varies by person. My later blog entries talk more about doing what works for you in the Paleo/Primal guidelines. Hope that helps to explain.

Thanks!
Krista

I had area code 866 (close to 865!) call a couple times - too bad it's a toll free code. Haven't had a chance to answer - working away...no voicemails though. *Wishful thinking* <SPAN class=idc-smiley><SPAN style="BACKGROUND-POSITION: 0pt 0pt"><SPAN>:)</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

Thank you for the warm welcome LLColeman! How funny - we were so close to getting a Boston Terrier (they fit our lifestyle just like the pugs do)! Aren't they precious? We are finding more and more things about his personality everyday. What is the name of your Boston?

Best of luck to you! ;)

Hi Sherri! Awww - I love pomeranians! They have such sweet faces :) She would fit nicely into this doggie home. What's her name?

We just got Gizmo last Saturday - he's a 10 week old black pug and I feel like I'm raising a toddler! I can barely keep up with him, but he has opened up a new place in my heart.

Best of luck!
