Just a heads up to anybody following along on the new Mark Watches, the version of The Gathering included as a bonus season 1 special feature on Amazon Prime Video is not the same version as what Mark is watching. I was so confused for a bit, heh.
Has anybody else here seen The Big Sick? I've seen it twice now and want to see it again. It's one of my favorite movies in years, I think.
There's new bloopers and deleted scenes being added too now! Probably just a way to make sure people aren't immediately cancelling their 7-day trials, but I don't care, I'll take any content I can get my hands on.
I pumped those good good goofs directly into my brain as soon as I possibly could. But then I'm basically McElroy trash. I watch/listen to at least 8 or so hours of McElroy related content every week. And we actually made the trek to Huntington for Candlenights last year.
(Sadly, couldn't manage to wrangle tickets to live Adventure Zone and MBMBAM just a couple of hours away because the Paramount Theatre in Austin uses a weird ticket queue system.)
Not sure if there's any other McElroy trash around here, but the first episode of the My Brother My Brother and Me TV show just dropped and it's amazing. Content warning: the first episode is all about tarantulas. I'm a huge arachnophobe but I was able to power through it, but your mileage may vary. I've been excited about Mark starting Discworld for a while now, and I just noticed that The Middleman is on the Master Schedule now!!! I'm so excited!
Ha, I do the same thing. It was a gut punch maybe the first 4 or 5 times, but by about the 10th time or so, I was paying more attention to audience reaction. I'm also a bad bad person.
Just a note, I don't think they actually strapped Book to the ship for the Reaver run. Nathan jokes about it in the bloopers, but I assumed they used non-Book bodies in the movie.
