Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Kyle Ringo Blog: Grading Rick George on first big test as CU Buffs AD - Buffzone

A plus in my book. Best case scenario was getting to play a non fbs team and having it count towards our 6 wins. We get what should be an easier win, income from the game and that could be a nice confidence builder after this tough stretch we have here. I am thrilled!

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Howell blog: CU Buffs\' young linemen coming along - Buffzone

The key to this program is the qb play....we haven't had anything above average since 2005. It is the main problem that has plagued this program for almost a decade. I expect Connor to be at least decent this year. If the online is solid, I think we CAN shock some teams. We haven't had any offense for years and our defense has been on the field for what seems like 80% of the game. Obviously, how the defense (which I don't know what to expect) plays impacts the potential for any surprise win. A lot of people I talk to dont think we will win a PAC 12 game...I am pretty confident we do.

If we get get something from the opposite side of Chidera that would be nice. But,I would imagine he might not be so good against the run with how light he is. If he can contribute in passing situations I will definitely take it.

The only job he leaves us for is Kansas. So, as tough as it may be, if we aren't playing rockcock or directly associated with the outcome of their game....we root for them. We also have to hope Tboon doesn't go all crazy and try to get Self to come home, thus opening Kansas.

Not only is it not the place, but I just don't care about what I was thinking anymore. Reminds you about what truly matters. My prayers go out to those three young boys and their mother. Buff nation stands by you.

I never said it was great and he didn't mention this years class. The offers are better than Sam Houston St. A lot of those players had offers fom BCS conference schools. Also, you have to remember where we are coming from, we arent going to be competing with Alabama, Texas and USC for recruits right out of the gate...be realistic and don't knock the players we have. Mosley, Powell, Wright, the receivers and many other recruits had offers from schools like Nebraska, Arizona, UCLA...etc

I thought the comment from their ad was encouraging as well. We all knew the money and years, I think he might have been referring to other incentives in the offer. I can't imagine just the meat and potatoes of the offer would have impressed him.

Ya, I understand that, just didn't have the energy to keep typing from my phone. The reason I think they were sitting on their hands has to do with how fast purdue turned around. Now maybe they are keeping this hush hush and learned from the first time, but to me they thought they ha him and got caught sitting on their hands. Whatever happens, I root for the buffs!

I wanted Jones. Was I sure he was going to get the job done...No! I was just more excited about what he could do compared to all the other options I've heard. After the last couple go arounds, for any buff fan to sit there and harp on one guy and say they know who can or will turn the program around is frustrating. As far as where I stand on Bohn, I WAS not part of the fire him group. He hired boyle, built the b-ball facility, and joined the PAC 12. Those are all huge moves. Now, I think he needs to go. He put all his eggs in jones and had no fall back plan. How incompetent can you be? Now we are deer in the headlights with a bunch of so-so at best options. Unless he gets real creative or lessens his restrictions from the personal side, we are going to get stuck with a coach, who if I were a recruit, would not be that excited of they came calling.

Jones would not have been Fraudkins II. Hawkins was a TE or special teams coach at Boise before getting the HC position. Jones was a HC before Cincinnati. Also, Brian Kelly didn't build that cincy program, he took over for Mark Dantonio. Kelly was there the same time Butch would have been. He doesn't look intelligent? Wow! I agree that MacIntyre might not be a bad choice...please no Deruyter

I think if you go off of history, while Fresno might look better with the numbers you have listed, the better coaching job is sjsu. Deruyter took over a pat hill program that actually had a history and foundation, sjsu was a joke. I would prefer tressell or petrino, but I'd take MacIntyre over deruyter
