My god some people are stupid. No S**t this is a political move. But who cares? You still have the vote next year to vote for her or not, weigh out the pros & cons of her role as governor. Her decision may be for her own gain, but nonetheless, if you've made the decision to vote for her solely based on this move, you need to recheck everything she's done. Verizon is expensive, but IMO, worth the extra money. Coverage practically everywhere, exceptionally fast internet speeds, and awesome customer service. Good decision on their part to drop the fee. Plus, if you're grandfathered into the unlimited data pkg. Your good to go! :)

To all those yelling and saying the government has no right to tell tobacco companies what to do, to a point, you're right. But when the NUMBER ONE leading cause of DEATH is directly related to their product, yeah, it does seem to be slightly OK the gov't should step in a bit. The gov't eventually picks up the tab on a lot of people that end up dying from it. People on Medicaid/care. If I'm wrong or in the wrong direction let me know, that's just my opinion. :D

I agree with J6P, I don't want MY tax dollars used to pay for THEIR expenses. Taxing tribal casinos is not being ignorant or prejudice. "native" people have access to everything in this state that non-native people do, without paying their FAIR share. While taxing tribal casinos may not put a dent in the budget, it is a well-thought idea.
