I am currently a member of the Constitution Party (although not speaking for it). I think that its candidates could win, but only if our "conservative" "leadership" led a mass move to it, and did so early enough in the process. Ross Perot was actually ahead in the polls at one point before he somewhat self-destructed - and this was before there were the alternative news and Internet sources that are available now. If Rush, Sean, and Mark were to recommend that voters move to the Constitution Party, its next convention would make it a conservative, Constitutional, party with real strength. It would be attacked by the mainstream media, the RINOs and establishment GOPers - and thus be identified in the minds of the conservative majority of voters as a real alternative to Tweeledum and Tweedledee - something that doesn't now exist, and is a source of great frustration to so many. We are tired of having to hold our noses and vote for evil, even if it is the lesser of two. Yes, there is a real biased-against-third party political system in the states - fixed by agreement by the Republicrats to keep out competition. The Constitution Party has already qualified itself for ballot access in many states, and, with an early-enough start , can complete the process in the others. It is probably too late to start this now for 2012, so I plan to work with the Tea Party to take control the GOP party apparatus. Let the RINOs hold their noses for a change!

I am amazed that the GOP is like a labor union - seniority is the leadership decider, rather than leadership skills! John Boehner officially only represents one deluded Congressional district in Ohio, but clearly also represents me - against my will!
