Breitbart.tv : Pastor Jeffress: I'd Vote For Mormon Romney Over Christian Obama

Pastor Jeffress doesn't speak for me, as a Christian or otherwise. We don't live in a theocracy, and there is nothing about Mormonism that is antithetical to the constitution, or makes Gov. Romney capable of performing the office of president, should it come to that.

Big Peace : Video Blog: Opening of the 9/11 Memorial, WTC

Thank you for the video, and your thoughts. I doubt whether I'll make it out to see the memorial myself. Which buildings were packed with people after 911? Churches. We might do well to help our friends and neighbors find their way to a place of worship, to ask and get answers to the question "Where do I go where I die?" An excellent church in Manhattan is pastored by Tim Keller, Redeemer Presbyterian. Let me recommend it, and visit the church website here: http://www.redeemer.com/.

Declaration Entertainment, either a one-time gift or as little as $10 a month. They're beginning their first movie already. Bill Whittle, Jeremy Boering, and I think one other fellow. Great movies that we actually want to see, made by honorable men who love America.
Fort Jackson, SC, March - June 1979. A-6-2, my DI wore the blue rope of the DI of the year for the year prior. Scared the crap out of us all, still does. Love and respect in equal measure. Sounds crazy except to everybody who's been there. I still have to step off with my left foot, and have to force myself to carry things in my right hand walking on the street.

I've got $10 bucks says at least 50% of anyone you care to ask this question "Do you think those who drive larger vehicles are damaging the environment" say YES. Ordinarily intelligent, hard-working, reasonable people go all to pieces and start buying Prius' because they think "if everyone just does their part, we will have a better world." It makes me want to weep because when facts are presented they just say "well, better safe than sorry" or "we just can't really know, can we?" And then they move to California and vote to have us all living in teepees eating roadside grass so the smelt can live and be free.
No one is mentally deranged. Making out and leaping about in a place devoted to quiet contemplation of a great man's life is inappropriate. Would this behavior have been appropriate in Arlington? the Arizona Memorial? Grow up people.

#1 - that's not dancing, not even '70s dancing. #2 - The Jefferson Memorial is a public place devoted to reverential contemplation of one of our founding fathers. Making out and gyrating is not reverential (if you're "in love" get a room). #3 - I wish the police could have quoted the law to them that prohibited inappropriate behavior, because their behavior was inappropriate to the location. Freedom does not mean free license. Questions: Arlington Cemetery is a public place. Would this behavior be appropriate there? The Arizona Memorial is a public place, would this behavior be appropriate there? Could the "dancing" have taken place outside the rotunda and still have "honored" Thomas Jefferson.

Breitbart.tv : Zo Nation: Common in the Wizzy Hizzy

Alfonzo, I agree with your idea that we need to engage the culture, which will change what we send to the White House. Could you offer more specifics about the people who are trying to do this but are not supported? The RNC supports Mitt Romney, who is not a contender for the executive office, this election or ever. More specifics, please. How can we change the culture, given that facts are what drives us to believe as we do? Also, and finally, I have to disagree that the President has a "right" to bring anyone he wants to the White House. He is hired help, whose personal preferences need to be set aside *at some point* when they conflict with generally accepted ideas of morality, legality, and good taste. I don't like the Beach Boys' music, and President Reagan did. Fine. They weren't lauding the virtues of a person who was convicted of killing a police officer. The President doesn't have a right to invite anyone he chooses the same way he didn't have a right to return the bust of Churchill--that was the people's property, and could have been moved to a museum or some other suitable place. So, given that disagreement, please tell me how we can engage a culture who lives in a fantasy world of make-believe? We have the intelligence to be more creative than we are, surely, but we need someone like you to help us with the "how." Seriously, I'm asking. I'm interested in "connecting" and "engaging," but I've got to do so by standing on what is right and true. How do I do that?
