My favorite episode of all time. I literally had the creys just reading your reaction to Vincent. I lose my shit every single time I watch this episode. I absolutely adore the way they handle depression and I just can't even describe all of my ~~feelings~~ for this episode. It is beautifully done.

I absolutely love Chronicles of Narnia, despite the fact that I too have much hatred for CS Lewis.

Of course you will have to decide what order to read them in, e.g., chronological, publishing, etc. My two cents are for written or publication order mostly because I think "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" is a better introduction into the universe than "The Magician's Nephew." Though my first-time through was in chronological order. *shrugs*

Wikipedia says, "Fans of the series often have strong opinions over the order in which the books should be read. Under dispute is the placement of two volumes, The Magician's Nephew and The Horse and His Boy, both of which take place significantly earlier than they were written, and which also fall somewhat outside the main story arc connecting the others. The "reading order" of the other five books is not disputed."

Possible reading orders:

Publication: 1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 2. Prince Caspian 3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 4. The Silver Chair 5. The Horse and His Boy 6. The Magician's Nephew 7. The Last Battle

Written: 1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. 2. Prince Caspian 3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 4. The Horse and His Boy 5. The Silver Chair 6. The Magician's Nephew 7. The Last Battle

(Internal) Chronological: 1. The Magician's Nephew 2. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 3. The Horse and His Boy 4. Prince Caspian 5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 6. The Silver Chair 7. The Last Battle

Sorry for the word dump, hope it was somewhat useful. :)

(I hope this doesn't post twice, *crosses fingers* as it is acting strangely. Apologies in advance.)

Love these episodes but I don't think I can comment much without spoiling. Sooo, I can't wait for you to watch the next part!

I really enjoyed this episode the first time around, though I don't watch it quite as often as others when I rewatch. But that whole 1984, "big brother is watching" thing always amuses me. Also Tamsin Greig! She was on "Black Books" which is the awesomest, snarky-est, bestest show ever. I mean, seriously, it has snarky, misanthropic book humor. What more can you ask for? :)

This! I love A Song of Ice and Fire. But "official publication date" makes me laugh . . . hasn't there been like six or thirty at this point, though they may not have been *official* dates. Seriously though, the waiting has filled my life with tragedy and sadness. Sorry for butting in however I don't often run across people who even know what A Song of Ice and Fire is, so I had to throw my support in for Mark Reads A Song of Ice and Fire when, you know, the next book gets published.
