Breitbart.tv : Obama: 'I've Never Seen Devastation Like This'

Never seen devastation like this, huh? How about a flyover of some of the 1.5+million burned out acres in Texas whose Governor has been requesting federal help from for some time, but the request is still being 'reviewed'.

But aren't "investments" in green energy, failed solar panel companies, and environmentally (and vehicle) unfriendly ethanol subsidies?

I agree. I'm tired of words that have been used for generations with decent meanings being hijacked and made seemingly unacceptable by a few. I don't have the time or energy to be offended, I'm too busy being tea'd off.

Big Hollywood : 'So Stoned' Director's Health-Care Ad Selected By Obama Celeb Panel

Can't they qualify for SCHIP? I'm tired of being bombarded by bratty kids telling their parents what they will and will not eat, demanding certain car seating, and now trying to tug my petrified heart strings with their 'maybe I will get' sob stories. I can't believe this was the best they could do for an entry into this bogus 'contest'. I've got a cat that could have done a better job. The true shame of this is that probably none of the judges ever really dealt with a true medical family tragedy, or they wouldn't have even considered using this bilge as propaganda. Try watching a loved one suffer through chemotherapy, change a colostomy bag, pack a wound, or repeat a fact for the nth time to someone suffering a head injury, and you'll be less willing to use it to bludgeon someone else to be compassionate.

Big Hollywood : Review: Leave 'The Box' On the Doorstep

I'm a big sci-fi fan, but this mess took some turns that it couldn't recover from. There were also lots of unanswered questions and unnecessary scenes that seemed to be put in just so they could use some really cool special effects. Also, Cameron Diaz used to do a good job in cutesy roles, but she's getting a little long of tooth for those, and mysterious/serious is not her forte. Not to mention a pitiful attempt at a decent accent.

Breitbart.com : Forgotten mourners: Soldiers\' brothers, sisters

My heart breaks for these siblings. Siblings have always been the 'forgotten' mourners. My brother drowned when he was 13, and I was 16. I remember people comforting Mother and Daddy, but it seems my younger sister and I were always on the outer rim of things. I don't remember anybody even aknowledging it when school started after the summer it happened. I guess they just didn't know what to say. As Karen Walker says, you spend your time trying not to upset others or making sure they are okay instead of dealing with your own grief. It's tough, even 37 years later, and I'm so glad to see support groups for this group of survivors.

Breitbart.com : Obama invokes grandmother\'s death in health debate

I also remember thinking it was weird that they announced she was gravely ill, but it took him four or five days to go to her, then he only spent a minimal amount of time with her. Just long enough to 'toss' her apartment to get rid of any incriminating info. that someone might find after her death? He certainly didn't spend much time with her when they went to visit last summer, and wouldn't you want your children to be able to see their grandma one last time? I wonder if they've ever met their great-aunt who is here in the US illegally.

Breitbart.com : Caterpillar to lay off 2,454 workers in 3 states

Actually, the CEO of Caterpillar contradicted The Obama's comments and said that it would take time to recover, and that there would probably be more layoffs. I don't really think The Obama and his handy teleprompter know the difference between what is true and what is pure fabrication, and nobody in the media bothers to find out the difference. Major Garrett just mentioned this story and left it sounding like the Caterpillar management lied to The Obama, and he was just relying on what they told him.

Breitbart.com : Obama: Stock \'fits and starts\' are normal reaction

When do 'fits and starts' become a trend? You can't tell me this guy didn't look at tracking polls multiple times a day during the election and adjusted his 'promises' and sermons based on what those polls told him. These fits and starts are robbing people of their life long savings while he's trying to adjust to his big-boy pants and listening to his cadre of tax-cheats, thugs, and other minions on how to put the screws to the hard-working American public while coddling the welfare population.

Breitbart.com : Obama kicks up White House entertaining

As one of those folks collecting aluminum cans, the price has fallen from 63 cents per pound to 23 cents per pound. About a penny a can, and we still have folks walking the road collecting them. How pathetic that the promises of Hope and Change have brought us the most out of touch, contemptuous, crooked, administration in history.
