Due to the proposed restrictions/regulations, (and while I do agree, that its up to the property owner, and not the city) if they unable to find a new location in the "area proposed" how should they be worried about competition? It seems their only competition would be each other at this point. Which unfortunately, isn't beneficial to the city to pin two existing businesses against each other. Not to mention, we are a TEAM, so bad mouthing another dispensary doesn't make them look bad, it just draws more attention to your practices. Also, if these are the only 2 dispensaries that have opened and continued to stay open(in the last year, year and a half); If everyone and their mom was planning on opening dispensaries in Lafayette, it would have happened already.
