Ukraine is caught up in a power struggle/grab being played out and they are only a pawn in much bigger scheme, Syria also falls into this category. Its been very hard to find anywhere that the govt which was overthrown was actually democratically elected. Cameron and Hague talk like they have some input, they do not, was it really their idea to run air support for al queda in Syria, that is what they were proposing, as was John Kerry, they have sold their souls and no longer make those decisions. Ukraine is in crisis because the powers that be have decided it will antogonise Russia in a much bigger power struggle, want to know who is calling the shots check out Gen. Wesley Clarke on utube and war plans to topple 7 countries, he was leading Nato and didn,t even know of the plan. Ed, Ulster has absolutely No significance on global scale, nor does England, unfortunately or fortunately we will have to sort it out ourselves, but we have nothing strategically related to Ukraine

Paul, sorry but you are way off, in Ulster the conflict was not between multi-ethnic peoples, but people who by any measure are the same ethnicity, thankfully there were enough people who saw this as such and we avoided a complete bloodbath. Hatred and division are easy to spread, can be done anywhere
