Need to verify:
Iphone 3GS, Baseband 05.13.04, Bootloader 6.4, Old bootrom MB717, never been jailbroken or unlocked and never saved SHSH blobs to anywhere. Now upgraded to iOS4. Is there YET any possible way to do JAILBREAK with Windows. Have tried custom .ipsw made with pwnage and MAC, gets only error 3194 every time. After been reading these posts for 1 week and trying all sorts off different ways, I believe it´s impossible still. So question was actually, is it possible or not with windows? Thanks guys.
I´m not pro in this, but I´ve been reading answers. I have same situation with you and when I upgraded I did not save my SHSH to be able to downgrade. So my opinion is, there is no way to downgrade or jailbreak yet! I´m just waiting new redsn0w and other great stuff to make my life easier.
Have been reading: 3GS (BB05.13.04 and BL6.4) with iOS4 is not jailbreakable or unlockable yet with Windows programs anyway, unless can downgrade to 3.1.3 or lower. I didn´t save my SHSH info before upgrading to iOS4, so there is no way down to 3.1.3!!! I AM SCREWED! Just have to wait new Redsn0w, that can do the trick, due I don´t have MAC. Dev-Team rules;)
Have exactly the same problem, cannot even open functions, due sim locked. Originally AT&T and I have foreign sim... Hope someone gives walk through to this issue, mean while I´m searching solution... ( I had error 3194 while trying to downgrade to 3.1.3)
Dear Dev-Team! Am I screwed, cause I got this info from f0recast! : Serial#: 5K93XXXX3NR, Baseband: 05.13.04, Bootloader 6.4, Model MB717 and then Jailbreakable?: " ", Unlockable? "NO", Tethered?: "NO". Does this mean I have no chance to unlock my Iphone? I´ve been seeking answers from this excellent site for couple days and tried most of the solutions, but no success. Now it´s jammed to that Sim locked screen. It´s, I suppose AT&T and from U.S. Please give me good news guys, Thanks already. (Iphone 3gs 32gb)
