While checking out a website I ran across a banner that showed Obama supporting the "Employee Free Choice" act. This act would knock out all barriers that corporations have to prevent unions forming in their businesses. This would be one of the greatest failures that we could allow to happen. Unions had a purpose back in their conception. Since that time they have been a breeding ground for crime and corruption. This bill will further cause the end of free market and capitalism. This will destroy industry. Liberals get away with steering peoples openion by labeling bills "Free Choice". What the common citizen doesn't realize is that once the union gets it's foot in the door they will be "FORCED" to support and join the union then they loose their "Free Choice". I would like to see 2 things happen here. 1. We need to set advance dates for more tea party like gatherings. Each patriotic holiday should have it's own gathering (except September 11th it will be on the 12th). Independance day 2. This site needs a place to link to each state and a way to communicate actions/rallies within the state.

Let's see??? The correct term for Water-boarding is psycological warfare. This is nothing more than a psycological effect that gives the illusion of drowning, though no real danger exists. Torture would be any act that caused physical harm, whether or not there is a risk of death, in order to gain information. Now if they were holding a man (or woman's) head inside a drum full of water that would be different (he/she has a risk of drowning let's say if the interrogators decide to go out for coffee and forget to pull the subjects head out of the water..)

In these e-mails it tells me to change my e-mail address and cancel my account. They are just trying to get people aggrivated enough to stop. I know what Obama is saying but I tell you, watch out! Just because he is says that he is not going to persue new weapons laws against Assault Weapons doesn't mean that he's not going to persue other avenues in order to make the weapons no more useful than as a boat anchor. He will find a way to push his hidden agenda in a way that makes him look like the "Good GUY". He WILL continue to push for stronger gun and ammunition laws, just give him time!

I think that this material would be more apt to be headed for the UK or US. This material would be used as a dirty bomb. The only thing about dirty bombs they would produce far more panic than a conventional bomb. People would mistake it for a nuclear bomb, but that is not what it is. A nuclear bomb uses fusion to create the destructive force, but a dirty bomb is more like a pipe bomb. It explodes and sends radioactive material out like shrapnal and anything that it enters it's hard to get out. People in the direct path of the dirty bomb would be at the greatest risk of radiation exposure.

The good and common level headed citizens of this country are what make it strong. It is these people that tend to rise above when situations are at their grimmest. It is other people that are too liberal minded and want everything done for them that would enjoy sitting back and letting a person with the ability to make decisions handle it for them. It is a great tragedy that the piolot died in this story but it is an even greater act that a FATHER took the lead in his family not only to pilot the plane but to ask for his children's prayers for his family's sake.

Our founding fathers created something called a Constitution and together with the Bill of Rights, we have the right to call for change in our government when it goes astray. Our government has let us down far more than this past election and it's time to return to the values that made this nation what it was. WE are not protesting AMERICA! I have been reading the many shootings that have occurred in this country over the past few days. It SEEMS to be more shootings theese days than days past (during the previous administration), which in fact it is the media reporting EVERY shooting that occurres in the United States that they can. The liberal media is taking advantage of crazed people and reporting every incident. If there were not such a discussion over gun rights, the national media would not be covering ALL of these but they wnat to push THEIR liberal agenda. Don't get me wrong there have been several shootings that deserved "National Attention" but things like this have happened under every administration and they even happened under Clinton's term with the assault weapon ban in place. Liberals don't know how to place blame where blame should be. They want to blame the gun when the blame should be on the person who used the gun.

Do you understand what is being said here? Just because you do not agree with what is going on in America doesn't mean you are not a patriot, as a matter of fact you become a greater patriot if you speek out against unjust and unconstitutional issues. You may disagree with authority, the constitution gives us this right to voice our openions in order to change the laws of this once great country. We still have to abide by the laws as they stand now but we can do what we have to do to change these laws.

Let's look at the lessons that can be proven throughout the world. Gun bans don't work. Great Britian has a gun ban but in a quarterly report it reported almost 9000 gun crimes. The only people allowed to have guns in Great Britan are 1 in 4 cops (the police don't even carry guns although they are looking to arm their police now). Australia a year after their gun ban gun crimes skyrocketed. Armed robberies went up 44%. Canada is blaming us for the rise in gun related crimes. In each of these country's if you use a gun for self protection YOU will be sent to prison for LIFE! So it is OK for someone to rape your wife and children and you cant shoot them to prevent it, because if you do you won't be there the next time to prevent the next attack, you'll be in prison.

The Marriage thing can be summed up to this. Marriage is a sacred ordinance between the married couple and God. The government should not be allowed to mess with marriage. I believe that marriage is and only should be performed between a man and a woman to become husband and wife. If a CHURCH wants to commit sin by marrying man to man or woman to woman, then that sin is on the shoulder of the priest that performs the ceremony. I also do not believe in quick marriage chappels like the ones in Vegas or the right of Justices of the Peace/Magistrates to perform marriage ceremonies. Magistrates performing marriage is a violation of church and state, they should only be able to perform civil unions which should be considered equal to church marriage.
