phone numbers are great, but if every rep got a 10-100, 000 emails, think how strong a message it would be if it shut down all the congressional email servers. People do more work on email than phone. let's see, 500,000 9-12ers x 1 email to every dem = no email tomorrow = an electronic voice is heard. this needs to be a strategy to get heard, email committee members, home offices, etc. have a nice night.

Here's a thought, why not harvest the power of 600k 9-12 members. If someone researched and posted the emails of senators and congressmen that were on committees that we feel should hear our opinion and everyone emailed them 2x with respectful but pointed information on our wishes do you think they would get the message? 1.2 million emails to each person on a committee might get the point across. If they don't hear us now, they would when some staffer gets to deal with the influx of mail. We have to look at ways to use the numbers of 9-12ers to get the attention of the people who have quit listening. I know I would look at what was coming in when the unread email count gets to 1 million. Just a thought.

Since we are all venting, in the big scheme of things how can you control a group of people that can vote their own pay raises, benefits and expense acct's? Once every few years we have pseudo-control of them but day to day nothing west of the DC border seems to make much of a difference. Thanks,
