i wrote a little app for my phone (this was actually kinda hard pre-iPhone) to bread crumb my gps location every 30 seconds i think it was. the turns are accurate and i did this ride pretty much every day rain/snow/shine/dark/cold/hungry/headache/... for 2 years.
Congrats Seth and all... looks really cool and love the fact that they are thinking across all mobile platforms. Pretty impressive numbers for a company that is less than a year old! I'll definitely kick the tires in my mobile apps.
badass or boneheaded insanity... that's up for debate :)
yep, that is a section of the little dry creek path. if you click on the map, go to aerial view, and zoom in you can see the trail.
thanks for the alternate route that avoids wads - tis a good option.
man, now you got me all obsessed about understanding seo stuff after our convo... i have no interest in the $ side of things just the mechanisms of how it all works form a-z. damn you.
now go back 2 building your personal brand :)
cool man... i'll be sure to let you know when i get the final map done. hope it helps people get out of their cars :)
it's cross time now for me mainly... you have a cross rig? if so, head up to boulder wednesday am's for the group ride. it's good - pro peloton at 8.
i'm still looking and still finding Nick...
and that guy - newsgator is stacked with brilliant engineers and great people; i'm not even close to being too smart for the gator :)
cool - look forward to meeting anand.
That's awesome Jeff! I got a good laugh and for the most part agree with you. I do see the benefits of the semantic web... my graduate thesis was on this topic SIX YEARS AGO and not much has changed (that says a bunch right there and validates your point).
However, recently there has been some progress. I think Alex and company at Adaptive Blue (and a few others) are doing a pretty good job of nibbling the elephant's rear end and actually doing something on top of this fuzzy notion of a semantic web.
Really psyched to see you find tiny twitter useful and great list of cool twitter supplements. Thanks Jenn.
Of course I remember you Jason! You had tons of great feedback back in the old days :) Thanks for all the kind words and glad NewsGator is treating you well!
Please do evangelize to all your friends and fam - and thanks for spreading the love!
Hope all is rocking and rolling with you.
