Crazy encounter. Bet that kid will remember that experience for a while. But anybody whose been hiking in the Idaho outdoors has probably been close to a lion without realizing it. Not ready to start fearing the situation yet.

I have a friend who got lost out there and just decided to sleep in a ditch and figure it out in the morning. No bush burning necessary. The same guy broke his leg in a big fall and still skied out to his car. That's the new bear grylls!

I like how Coach Pete got in there and helped de-escalate that post-game nonsense. He's a standup guy. Also- nice headline Channel 2. I am increasingly impressed with this website.
