Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : News From You

I apologize if someone has already posted this information, however, the below information came about as I pondered, “Do Americans really want the ‘change’ President Obama claims America voted for in 2008?” So I decided to pull a few numbers together, in an effort to find out what percentage of Americans truly voted for Obama's campaign for ‘change’. The below information is not scientific, I simply pulled a few stats together using numbers from the US Census Bureau and CNN’s web site. I’ve included each link, so you can correct me if I am wrong with my calculations (I welcome productive criticism). Bottom line, based on my humble research, only 33% of Americans voted for Obama in 2008. My point, 67% did not (38% didn’t even bother to vote). I hope you and Glen Beck can use this logic to help open the eyes of our politicians – 33% is not a majority of America, only a majority of voters. Please consider the below: Current US population - 306,094,058 http://www.census.gov/main/www/popclock.html I pulled the following from the US Census Bureau website, http://www.census.gov/population/www/socdemo/voti... (the most recent statistics I could find was 2006 data): 201,073,000 - US Citizens, 18 years old and older 135,847,000 – Registered Voters, US Citizens, 18 years old and Only 67.6% of US Citizens, 18 years and older, are registered to vote. CNN report of 2008 Presidential election popular vote, http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/presiden... (rounded for easier math): 66,822,000 votes - Obama 58,344,000 votes - McCain So, adding those numbers together, approximately 125,166,000 US Citizens, 18 years and older, voted in 2008 Presidential election. Only 62% of US Citizens, 18 years old and older, voted in the 2008 election. 33% of US Citizens, 18 years old and older, voted for Obama 29% of US Citizens, 18 years old and older, voted for McCain What about the other 38% of US citizens, 18 years old and older, that didn’t vote? What do they want? Why didn't they vote? 29% of McCain voters plus 38% of non-voters equal 67% of America. 67% of American that didn't sign-on for this type of 'change'.

Christianity is not about perfection. So let’s step back, realize no one is perfect and understand we all have different opinions and life experiences to share and consider. I strongly feel our government has become a 'worldly church’, pushing away from the Constitution. I also feel our current government assumes it was given the right to ‘create’ each and every Americans’ life, liberty and pursuit of happiness vs. PROTECTING each and every Americans’ personal freedoms and encouraging each American to create, for him/herself, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Most liberals agree there must be a separation of church and state, so why do liberals encourage/demand our government to act as the church, providing for the needy, sick, widowed, orphaned, oppressed, etc? The problem, as I see it, a 'worldly church' creates fluctuating standards to match the ever-changing human rationalization(s). What I mean, when we don't answer to something higher than ourselves, we become selfish and arrogant, looking out for our own self-interests, without truly considering the long-term consequences of each decision we make. Weak worldly standards/rationalizations will corrupt justice (or fairness as Obama often speaks of), because for justice to work efficiently, standards must be absolute/unchanging. Once you have absolute standards (comes from answering to a higher power) justice prevails, whereas worldly standards (changing standards) lead to injustice and chaos. What I am witnessing, as we turn more and more to worldly standards, is our country pulling apart and crumbling. It is time for personal responsibility to take the foreground. It is time to refocus our attention to absolute standards, but also understanding we can only control ourselves. Remember, we will fall short following Godly standards, more times than not, but we must get back up, dust ourselves off, learn from our mistakes and persistently move forward.

I am wide awake and you are correct. The arrogance, US Government can generate a better Health Care system is laughable. Healthcare reform belongs in the hands of 'we the people'. Our government's past performance equals future performance - Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac, AIG, etc..... Please, keep writing your representatives. Make your voices heard.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Uh-oh – China says they may be done with the U.S. Dollar.

Pulled the below from Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public... Foreign ownership (of the United States' public dept) A traditional defense of the national debt is that Americans "owe the debt to themselves", but that is becoming increasingly less accurate. The US debt in the hands of foreign governments was 25% of the total in 2007[32], virtually double the 1988 figure of 13%.[33] Despite the declining willingness of foreign investors to continue investing in US dollar denominated instruments as the US dollar fell in 2007,[34] the U.S. Treasury statistics indicate that, at the end of 2006, foreigners held 44% of federal debt held by the public.[35] About 66% of that 44% was held by the central banks of other countries, in particular the central banks of Japan and China. In total, lenders from Japan and China held 47% of the foreign-owned debt.[7] This exposure to potential financial or political risk should foreign banks stop buying Treasury securities or start selling them heavily was addressed in a recent report issued by the Bank of International Settlements which stated, "'Foreign investors in U.S. dollar assets have seen big losses measured in dollars, and still bigger ones measured in their own currency. While unlikely, indeed highly improbable for public sector investors, a sudden rush for the exits cannot be ruled out completely." [36] In 2006, the central banks of Italy, Russia, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates announced they would reduce their dollar holdings slightly, with Sweden moving from a 90% dollar-based foreign reserve to 85%. [37] On May 20, 2007, Kuwait discontinued pegging its currency exclusively to the dollar, preferring to use the dollar in a basket of currencies.[38] Syria made a similar announcement on June 4, 2007.[39]

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Not So Breaking News - Obama Tells Leno AIG Bonuses Stunned Him

She belongs with a non-profit-group, NOT government. Look at the trouble California is in, I am very concerned, as I live in Northern California. Below is what I personally sent to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi via e-mailing her at http://speaker.house.gov/contact/ Would you arrest and prosecute a person(s) who broke into your home and took your possessions? In my opinion, an illegal alien does just that, breaks into my home country and takes services (possessions) away from tax paying citizens. The law must be upheld, regardless of the heartbreaking stories and human rationalizations. As a representative of the United States of America you are required to uphold the law. Illegal aliens must be deported, period. An illegal alien made the conscious choice to come to this country illegally, and he/she must accept all the consequences associated with that decision. The consequence should be punishment and deportation. Any citizen or individual who plays by the rules should be offended by this illegal behavior, any and all illegal behavior. In my opinion, one of the major reasons California is in such financial trouble is due to the illegal alien population. I don’t blame people for fleeing into this country, but I do expect these individuals to do it legally and proudly. I expect individuals to walk through the ‘front door’ proudly, not break into the ‘back door’ during the dark of the night while ‘stealing’ what they need at the expense of law-abiding citizens. Consequences. There must be consequences to illegal behavior, period.

I just read an article the Rasmussen Reports online web site, A Hidden Agenda Behind the 90 Percent Tax? A Commentary By Lawrence Kudlow. Worth reading and something to consider (another reason to send a tea bag string or two to Capital Hill)... http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/po...

I just sent this to Senator Feinstein, Senator Boxer and The White House. Thought I would post it here too. What are you all doing on Capital Hill? Really, what are you doing? Why are we attacking AIG executives, when American citizens need to be demanding accountability from Congress and the Administration, as a whole? Have you ever noticed; when government gets involved chaos ensues? Congress and the Administration made some very poor, knee-jerk decisions, signed things into place without reading/studying them closely and carelessly spent Americans’ money, our taxes, and we’re outraged over 165 million dollars? This is Congress and the Administration’s mess, not AIG’s. This is something you all have created, but as the say goes, s#@t rolls down hill. Instead of focusing on the real issues, you (Congress/Administration) are allowing Americans to direct their anger at a few AIG executives, when the anger should be directed at the problem - Congress and the Administration’s policy decisions. It is time to take the log out of your own eye and figure out what you can do to fix the problem vs. attacking a small group of people. 165 million dollars, really? So we are not concerned about the 1.6 trillion dollars used to prop up failing investments? We’re not concerned about the breach of contract? We’re not concerned about upholding our Constitution? We’re not concerned about the mob mentality/witch hunt that doesn’t solve a d@#n thing? What about Freddy Mae and Freddy Mac? Why are we attacking them and taxing them at 90%? Or the other organizations that spent TARP money inappropriately? What about Tim Geithner (at least he admitted to his mistake) and Chris Dodds, why not ban them from government jobs and tax them at 90%? Would any of that solve a d$%n thing? On a side note, I personally feel removing Chris Dodds from any form of government would be a great first step. What about the 1 trillion dollars just printed out of thin air? What the h#@l is that about? Why aren’t we concerned about hyperinflation and the value of our dollar? Congress and the Administration are not trustworthy and I am tired of being lied to, as I am not a fool. I am watching the news, I am reading the news, I am studying the US Constitution and I am learning as much as I can; I am extremely concerned. With all that said, how can I get 90% of my family’s taxes back from the federal government, as I am disgusted with how my tax money is being used?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Global Warming Update

As far as I know, weather tracking has only taken place over the last 150 years. So, how does anyone really know what the climate is or isn't doing? I grow weary of human arrogance, when the facts are, we don't possess absolute answers regarding climate changes. We only have theories...theories based on educated guesses.
