Now we need REAL campaign reform. No corporate donations, no union donations no non US citizen donations, the only allowable donations will be US individuals and that of a total of $1K non-deductable! We make sure that individuals are the only donations. No groups of any kind, no RNC or DNC donations. No more political ads by independant groups. The $1k limit would also mean you can only donate to your state or district candidate. For Pres there is also a $1k limit! No, candidates may not use their own money to finance a campaign above the $1k limit!
Next is term limits: 12 years total for house or senate or combination of both.
These cannot happen without "We the People marching on our respective state capitals and legislatures and demanding a Constitutional convention! I know this is dangereous but it is the only option we have. Does anyone really believe the US Congress would ever impose such limits upon itself? No, so we have to do it! These are suggestions for straighting out the mess in Washington DC. I am sure we can add to this list and will. But remember we have to be involved in order to get anything done.

2010 election: We need to vote them out instead of looking at our own guy and saying "he has done good for our district or state!" How has he or she done for the Nation? Anyone voting for these health care monstrosities needs to go! Anyone voting for Economic stimulus needs to go, anyone for Cap and Trade needs to go! Anyone taking unecessary trips on the publics money needs to go.

Obama heads for Copenhagen to solicit Olympic Games for Chicago. I thought it was generally the case that state governors and city Mayors were the one's that solicited for Olympic Games in and near their respective cities and states. Obama must figure that spending time in Copenhagen to try and get the Olympic Games for Chicago is a critical national issue.
It really doesn't matter that he could take a day or two and spend with the Secretary of Defense, General McCrystal and the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Military. No, that wouldn't be any fun and it surely wouldn't help his favorite city, Chicago in their effort to get the games. No national security and the lives of our troops are not as important. I am sure that this trip is of utmost urgency. You know another crisis or if they don't get the games it would precipitate a crisis!
Does our beloved President do anything other than give speeches, declare crisis and bemoan his falling approval ratings? OH I forgot he has Czars to do all f the real work and he trusts them enough to do as they tell him, after all they are all of the same ilk!

The Dems have placed ads on TV to call the RNC and tell them to stop the ads against health care legislation. Why don't conservatives and those against this mockery call the DNC and flood their phone system?

Why is it when liberals bus in activists, union members, acorn, and the list goes on... they are called a "Grassroots effort?" Yet if we disagree with the prevaling liberal, no make that progressive thought we are an organized mob (is that like Jumbo shrimp?) or a Pelousy puts it "Astroturf movement.? As long as I can remember (I'm 53) it was the lefties that were generally disrespectful, bullying, obnoxious, and profivient in dirty tricks and propoganda and vocal. I have always wondered that consrvatives have sat quietly and fumed. Now things have changed and the left doesn't understand what is happening. We are now the vocal group and the masses have choosen to fight back, plus those that have sat on the fence all their lives are chiming in. This is Republican Democracy in action. We want to save the republic, not nesscessarily democracy. Too many countries are called the people's democratic republic! But are they?
Keep fighting for what is right and do not let bullies and liars complete there drastic change from Repulican Democracy to that of the People's Democratic Republic! As Glenn espouses, pray but also keep your powder dry!

Does newly convicted excongressman Jefferson still get to collect his government pension while enjoying his new home? If so why? Also how many people in prison draw social security or other govenment benefits (other than room and board)?

Was just checking the meaning of "Sig Heil" in regards to Nazis. Basically Sig = victory and Heil = health/wellness.
When will the progressives simply admit what they are? I am truly waiting for the "Sig Heil" moment. I also love the "flag@whitehouse.gov" to report fishey emails. I just received one from AARP that was fishey as heck! It was pro-government health. Now if that is not fishey what is? Also when did we bring in "Sedition" laws? I thought that went out with the Revolution?
So we now have a gestopo website for fishey emails or speech? This is headed by a female version of Joseph Goebels (I wonder, does she have a club foot? Or is it hoof and mouth?). Also I don't believe the czars to be czars. I think they fit better into the various Minister positions of the Fatherland. I am beginning to believe that our history books are incorrect (sorry! the ones of my school days!) in that, it appears the Nazis were not defeated, they simply hid and waited for the right time to make their move.
