Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Stand Up & Lead

My wife and I were talking last night about the Obama birth certificate thing... She brought up an interesting point and would like your views on the subject. She told me that you can order a birth certificate for another if you have a vested interest. Since American citizens have a vested interest in our president and our country, don't we have the right to order the Obama birth certificate?

How to make a change.. With most news stations & newspapers having some type of blog, let's write about this in every local blog we can find. Put this in your twitter, myspace or equivelant. Let's all do a seach for "fannie mae bonus" Send out an email to all our friends asking them to do the same search. If the liberal media can create news, so can we. If we flood the market and make it look like everyone is searching for this answer the media will pick it up and start to report on it. I believe this type of effort may be the new way to fight the good fight.

Where is the outrage??? Fannine & Freddie are paying out as much as AIG, but I can barley find anything on it. Oh, yea.. It must be ok since it is part of the gov. now. I am truly upset with us as americans. We are currently no better than a herd of cattle heading to the slaughter. We can be controlled much the same way. We seem to act on impulse, forgetting to process any thought and quick to make comments. We do need a back to basics approach. We need to review our history and understand what our forefathers fought for. Currently we living in a place that can distribute wealth, tax who they want, when they want and restrict freedom. I believe this is exactly what they fought against. Do we have enough backbone to stand up for what is right?

I agree that healthcare has changed. It has provided us more options to prevent illness and mange more health conditions. It has also provided us the perception that a pill will solve my health problems. We can take pills for weight, lack of sleep, too much sleep, not enogh energy, too much, feeling good, feeling bad and etc. instead of looking into our own lifestyle we too easily go get some pill to fix it.

Medication is good, but just like anything, it needs to have common sense behind it. With that being said, I believe the insurance companies are partly to blame when they introduced the HMO type plans. It became very easy to see a doc for very trivial problems. We are now suffering with high cost in medical care. We need to shift our focus and understand what insurance is suppose to take care of.

National Healthcare. Massive changes are being proposed and a national healthcare care plan seems to be what everyone wants. They intend to vote on these changes in July. We need to stop this in it’s tracks. The idea, provide health insurance to those that can’t get it due to health, money, lack of job or etc. We are told that we need to make this “fair” for all. Don’t we currently have systems in place to deal with people that are disabled, sick, or can’t afford? When younger, I took several jobs for the insurance benefits. It was not what I necessarily wanted to do but, due to my lack of planning I had to take care of priorities first and afterwards I could worry about what I really wanted to do. Insurance was designed to protect you from unforeseen disasters that would create a financial hardship. With that thought in mind, health insurance was born. Health insurance was originally designed to pay for the treatment of unforeseen health issues in the future. It was not setup with the idea of, I was told I have “xxxx” condition(s) and should probably get health insurance now.
