The northeast is too far gone. Only most of us are getting what we deserve though. I live in Vermont which is liberal hell. There are a fair number of conservatives here but we are severely outnumbered. The way the idiots that "represent" us keep getting voted in is by flatlanders from MA and NY who have taken over our state. Luckily we've had a conservative republican Governor for eight years to somewhat balance out the whackjob liberal legislature. I'm not sure about a ban on red ink. However, about 4 years ago when my son was in middle school we had a big to do about changing the grading system. Instead of the traditional A, B, C, D, F letter grades it was changed to a number system, 1-5. HELLO!!!!! This was designed to not hurt kids feelings. At least that's what I was told when I questioned the school board about it. In the late 1930's early 1940's there was a very charismatic leader in Germany. He was legally elected by a country that was very divided on issues and in economic turmoil. He slowly but surely went about changing the countries makeup through the effective use of propoganda and the legilature. Before anyone knew what happened laws weren't enforced through the courts anymore. Doors were kicked in and people had no rights whatsoever.
