I'm a Japanese Softbank iPhone user, currently visiting Philippines. After unlocking my 3G, Philippine SMART sim works very well. I'll see if original Softbank sim works ok after going home. For those of you something's wrong with JB or unlocking, try to JB using Dev-Team genuine redsn0w downloading from Bittorrent , not from mirror sites. There must be some bugs in mirror site stuff. Cydia didn't work properly in my case. So, I tried it from Bittorrent, then it's been working perfectly.
