You've taken things out of context and twisted the meaning of a wonderfully written series. I would bet most of you ppl wouldn't know a great book if it hit you in the face. As for the movie, definitely not a good as the book, but it was still pretty good. I do agree that it was of poor quality(screenwriter sucked and the acting was not oscar worthy) but the story is the ecsence of every movie is it not? I mean I love Dark Knight it was the most amazing movie of the year. But you can't compare Twilight to movies like that because they aren't even in the same league. The fans realize that and they support the movie b/c Summit and all those involved tried to the best of their ablity to bring an amazing STORY to life. As for what the article and the articles sited, will do to the series.....nothing but make Twilight fans (movie and book) more fanatic and loyal. I loved Twilight but I was a little concerned that they rushed some of the areas I thought they should have explored a little more. One of my friends that had not read the book went with me and I immediately was concern that she had no idea what was going on. However, at the end of the movie she loved it . She said it was an amazing movie and I thought that was awesome. I think being such an avid fan put me at a disadvange of just enjoying the movie and not picking it apart. However, after saying that I seen it again and didn't try to analyze it to death and absolutely LOVED IT! I can't wait for New Moon and I really do hope that they get a bigger budget. I'm 22 and an absolute fan of Meyer and all of her books. I've read everything that she has published. I got my mom into her books and we went together to see the movie. It is awesome how a book/movie/ franchise..... can bring moms and daughters together. I really hope that Twilight does well at the Movies because its an amazing story that narrow minded opininated people just don't get. And sadly they will never get it b/c they would rather cause discord and angst. So anyways, looking forward to NEW MOON now!!!
