I would like to hear more details of this story. Maybe I am mistaking...but this doesn't seem like rape to me. First, the girl has a history of bad behavior...landing her in the juvenile detention center to begin with. Second, the girl communicates with the ex-guard through the internet. Next, agrees to meet him in the park alone with the intention of getting drunk. BOTH girls, old enough to distinguish between right and wrong, decide to sleep with him. Afterwards, they come forward to say that they felt pressured into doing it. Nothing good can come from arranging a myspace meeting in the park with your ex-juvenile detention guard for alcohol.

Sad incident, yet preventable. Common sense should tell one that (1) Sitting in the mid-day Arizona heat (2) In a "sweat lodge" with 60 other people (3) after being deprived of food and water for 3 days - is not healthy. Whether something went "wrong" or not (aside from starvation and heat exhaustion), you'd think someone would refrain from participating in this. Let alone paying 10k for it.

Flashing and wearing pasties is not against the law, but their actions do violate the lewd conduct ordinance in Everett (hence why it's being discussed). Allowing men to touch them for money IS against the law, and the reason for the arrests.
