The guy is awesome !!!! Fabregas adds some great spices to this team, specially from the aggressive and risky sides. I believe his role is neither to focus on holding possession nor to focus on his passing accuracy, Fabregas is an explosive player. He delivers risky long passes as well as short ones, and he has some amazing forward runs. I don't know if it was just me, but I thought that lots of our dangerous attempts came from Fabregas' assists. Like against Getafe for instance, we needed the players to be at the box line, CAM position. If we had Iniesta and/or Fabregas, Messi could have played there with them at CAM with quick short passes and long shots. Instead, everyone went up front and waited for Xavi to give them a lob pass. Wasn't working =/ Against 8 defenders, I say all attackers should turn into CAM and try either long shots or to cut through the defense with quick short passing or simply just gaining free kicks. Barca, unlike Madrid, is not a team that bully their opponent with aggressive attacking style to score goals. Barca controls the ball and score through multiple passes build ups. The consequence of such a style is that we might find it really hard to score against extremely defensive teams. The benefits however is that in big matches against big teams we are going to preform better. I believe the game against Getafe needed more play makers to crack the defense, and we missed both Iniesta and Fabregas to be honest. The players might have seemed not on form last game, but the truth is that it's depressing playing against 8 defenders (two layers of 4 defenders). We saw it against Chelsea and we saw it against Inter, it is depressing. Also this team have put such a high standard, that a loss made everyone panic and think we are in crisis. It is possible that we might not win the Liga this year, but it is also possible that we win it. Also there is the Champions, winning this alone will overshadow the Liga loss if we lose it, and we will still be looked at as a better team than Madrid. Just imagine us kicking them out of it once again ;) . After all we are a better team than Madrid.
