Big Hollywood : Whoopi Defends Polanski: 'It wasn't rape-rape.'

Imagine you have just been sexually assaulted. You said no, you tried to leave, but you were raped anyhow. Then you watch this episode of The View. Will you report your attacker? Will you seek help? Or will you wonder if it was really "rape-rape," or somehow your fault? Maybe something you deserved? Wow. You need to think before you speak. What a dis-service to your community and to the struggle for women's and girls' rights to bodily integrity. Roman Polanski drugged a 13 year old girl and had sex with her while she said no and begged to go home. That is rape - no matter what the victim's age. What he did was wrong, it was violent, it was degrading, and it was inexcusable. I am appalled. I feel sick to my stomach. As a woman, a teacher and a mother, I feel betrayed by Ms. Goldberg's comment.
