1. Eliminate pensions for anyone who serves as an elected official in the federal government.
2. Eliminate salaries for elected officials. Pay for housing to a certain limit, pay for travel to and from home state, but limit or eliminate salaries.
3. If they are salaried, no raises without the vote of the people.
4. flat tax rate for everyone
5. Term limits. 2 for senate, two for congress just like the presidential office. No extra run later on, like Putin plans in Russia.
6. Limit staff for all elected officials in federal government. One aid/one secretary.
7. One bill one topic. Makes it harder to hide pork.
8. Open meetings for the public on all bills, no behind door deals.
9. Military first choice on spending.
10. Limit welfare to elderly, or disabled, people. No money for healthy able bodied people.

I don't understand something that is trivial to most. Why do so many of you use screen names instead of standing for something using your real names? Just strikes me as rather odd.
