Please show me where is says healthcare is a right. That saying you quote doesn't mean healthcare. You may feel you need it but if you would go to work everyday you could either afford it or your company would pay for it. I am sorry your unemployment check didnt have it is it.

It must be nice to live in a state that can waste so much money on a huge "white elephant" called max and wes. I agree with you on the additional lanes on I-205 that would be money better spent. But why would they do something that actually helps the majority of people who travel on 205 when they can just send money on a foolish transportantion idea.
I have been reading most all of the comments left people today and someone along the line left a note saying that most of us were bitter. I dont see that to be the case I feel that we are being real with our concerns. I live in the Clackamas area and my fear is that this type of transportation will just allow the crime to move out in our area at a faster rate then it is now.
You are so right jetact. It is the amblance chacers that force the cost of what we pay everyday to go up. Like I said the money comes from somewhere.
I have read what you have been writing and I understand what you are saying. I was a victim of being molested by a relative. And I am here to say there that money does not make thoes deep wonds go away. What does bring closure and some peace is the thought that after many years he was put in prision and that night after night he lived in fear. I do believe that things always come back around rather they are good or bad. And no amount of money can ever heal thoes hurts as the money has to come out of someones pocket and that is the person it hurts.
I had two children that were in the North Clackamas School Dist. Maybe if the district would have really taken a look at that "white elephant" of the CIM and CAM program and the money that was poured into it each year and used the funds to build a stronger base for each school with strong teachers that have enough materials to work with to teach the basic and not worry about cosmetology classes. I think that money would be better spent by the district on the fundimentals and not worry about "fluff " classes. My youngest ended up transfering to a private school for her last two years of high school and it was the best move as she was more than ready to enter college. Public school would not have prepared her well enough.
In our time of need such as 9-11... we need and want the help that any branch of the military provides... I have a sister in the army and I support her and for what she gives up to provide us with protection... the same people who b**** about the war and are nonsupportive are the same ones who would b**** if we did not have them.
I have a sister that was exposed to chemicals in the Gulf War and one of her boys suffers physical problems because of that. My heart and prayers goes out to each family effected.
