4)There is a need to educate the medical community regarding many different diseases and their causes. I saw first hand how compartmentalized the information in the medical community really is. There is a real problem with finding qualified doctors when you have a disease that may not be well known. The medical community needs to be encouraged to share information better and use technology more. A very important issue that needs to be addressed within the medical community is the idea of having compassion for patients. The current system encourages doctors to spend less time with their patients and patients frequently feel as though they are treated as numbers. Our current healthcare system should become an integrated system. 5)Increase research funds for disease that don't have much funding.

2)Raise public awareness of different diseases and their causes. The media, television stations and the like simply don’t spend much time covering important health topics. 3)The government can also make the public aware of the work being done at the CDC and the NIH, which will help improve how people view the federal government when they know that such important and useful work is being done. They have tons of information that can be disseminated to the public through various means.
