Thank-you for all ya'lls concern for the people on the oil rig. There is already a mile long oil sheen seen in the Gulf. Moratorium or no people in the Gulf are suffering, fisherman most notably. Then they say with a moratorium even more people are out of work. Blanco has been most vocal about not allowing the moratorium, I just don't know I have mixed feelings about it being in Lousiana and too close to the situation.
It's been us and them so long most people don't understand we! It's only me, so it becomes us and them. What happened to "united we stand, divided we fall"? You hit the nail on the head.
Buckle up people it saves lives. Should it be a law? I don't know, when we have so many things they want to regulate. I started buckeling up about a year before they passed the law knowing it was coming. Now it is just habit, get in the car, buckle up don't even think about any more.
Well, they try to control almost everything in our society. They make something illegal that was meant to be a incense, that some one figured out they could get high on. With all the laws they put on the books every year, we are very close to having everything made illegal. You won't be able to go out side and breathe the air, 'cause they will have a ban on it before long. We can't control the actions of every person and make everything illegal that they can figure out a way to misuse. Back in the day people smoked banana peel, I'm surprised we are able to eat bananas today!!!

Am praying they find this young man. Parents hold out hope. A couple of weeks ago we had a 13 yr. old girl missing for a few days. She was found safe, although much worse for wear. But, she was alive, had been kidnapped walking to a local pool! Praying for his safe return.
