I’ve been playing NFS since the beginning, and this is my favorite edition yet…the cockpit cam is great, and the physics are amazing. This is my first NFS on a next-gen system, and I’m blown away by the realism (Outside of some of the exaggerated crashes, which are part of the fun in playing video games anyway...)

Also nice to see a good soundtrack, I was thrilled that they used Rootbeer’s “Under Control” – that’s definitely an awesome under-the-radar jam. Props to EA for improving their song selections as of late – all the games I’ve bought this year (Fight Night Round 4, NFS Shift, and NHL 10) have had pretty decent soundtracks.

Glad to see the award go to such a deserving athlete - Maya is awesome! Did you see her recent feature on ESPN? It was a really great profile, plus was full of some awesome big wave shots. I’m blown away at how fast she went from “barely standing up” to conquering the world’s gnarliest waves. As an added bonus, the footage is set to some great songs - “I’m Alive” by Radio Freq and “Come My Sunshine” by The Comas.

Great album, been spinning this a lot the last two weeks. Maybe now is the time for Da Truth to step up to a larger audience - Pigeon John's "Brand New Day" just got featured in a new HBO commercial, I think the public is ready for Da Truth! Ken is the man! I’m really, really psyched to see him perform at X15. I hope he can win himself a gold this year. Anyone else catch that featurette on ESPN? It really gave some great insight into one of the most interesting characters on the scene, definitely worth checking out...just wish they would've had some Dirt2 clips as well.

I really hope Ken Block can bring back a gold at the games...just saw an ESPN featurette on him, and it was a great, insightful look into this guy. I love how he doesn't have to do what he does, but is clearly motivated just by the thrill of competition. It's refreshing to see. Also was stoked that they used Ted Leo + Pharmacists' song "Son of Cain" in the spot...I can totally imagine Block being a huge fan of them.
