God. You should look up his testimony about coming to Christ. It's pretty amazing.

Big Peace : FBI Targets Constitutionalists

"Today, if you are a “defender” of the U.S. Constitution against the federal government and the United Nations, local law enforcement have been provided directives to report such individuals to their local JTTF." It makes perfect sense that "defenders" of the Constitution should be reported when the Constitution itself is the ultimate thing standing in the way of your agenda.

Big Hollywood : Matt Damon Desperately Needs a Teleprompter

If it's so criminal and disgusting that the wealthy don't pay more in taxes, then how about putting your money where your mouth is and voluntarily paying more? You need a law to make sure all your selfless buddies that agree with you pay theirs too before you do what is "right" or what? Lead by example or shut up.

Big Hollywood : 'Friends with Benefits': Partial Victory for Conservative Values

I haven't seen the film, I was just saying the article didn't convince me. I don't think that particular moral lesson you mention automatically makes a movie conservative. Liberals have many reasons they may want to teach the same moral lesson, not all of which come from any sort of conservative sense of values. Liberals usually focus on how it makes you feel, how it will affect your life, if you'll get sick, etc. Conservatives tend to focus on honoring marriage or religion or a relationship, etc. They don't get there the same way. With this issue I think it's the way they get there that makes the film conservative or liberal. Again, haven't seen the movie, the article just didn't convince me.

I did the same thing at first. They're coming from the standpoint that God is fictional. Read from that point of view, it didn't require any twisting for me to see the insult.

I'm not convinced by the article that this film promotes conservative values. Casual sex has always been in the realm of the pretty far out there. Many a liberal sees the sense in monogomy from a societal and disease prevention stand-point, if nothing else. A few jokes aimed at liberals doesn't signal any kind of turning point, IMO, especially when the anti-God ones are left in. We're not going to get everything we want in a movie very often, I get that, but let's set the bar a little higher than this before calling it even a partial victory for conservatives.

Breitbart.tv : Obama: Boehner Plan 'Has No Chance of Becoming Law'

Well, according to the Constitution: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." He has aided and abetted our enemies (won't protect the border, "reckless investigative technique",(aka gun-running), giving foreign terrorists the same rights as American citizens, deliberately bankrupt us) levied war against the people he is supposed to protect (stoking class warfare, threatening to withhold SS checks, again won't protect border). Several other things would fall under high crimes and misdemeanors, but I'm just talking about treason. We have all witnessed him on video saying that our form of government is a frustration to him today, heard him say he wants to fundamentally transform America. There is no doubt in my mind that he has committed impeachable acts of treason according to the Constitution.

For actively trying to make us default and lose our AAA rating, for stoking class warfare, for running guns to Mexico in a plot to undermine the 2nd Amendment, for going to war without congressional approval, for using the White House to film a video asking for donations, for actively having false reports issued during the BP oil spill fiasco, for abusing recess appointments, for trying to sneakily set precedents for giving foreign terrorists the same rights as American citizens..........

I don't see why that is crazy, either. I know people who do this, I imagine most people do. Perpetual students, some never graduate, some do, work for a few months, and go back for a different degree because they didn't like the work, and they are always collecting financial aid. Some of them make sure they can still say they're single parents too, even though they live with someone, so they can maximize the amount of aid they get.

Breitbart.tv : Krauthammer Shreds Obama's 'Campaign' Speech

Yeah, using the wrong word is the problem. Begging people to call their congressman and demand that they raise taxes on them and/or their bosses has nothing to do with it. It is amazing how stupid our President thinks voters are. Of course, then again, enough of them voted to get him elected, so maybe I can see why he would mistake momentary insanity for permanent stupidity.
