The Democrats started their campaign of vilification the moment Trump won the White House and now the Republicans will do the same (and have already started).

Politics in the States is a cess pit motivated , on both sides, by greed. Will it ever change? I very much doubt it.

Actually it did you see several candidates used the address of an existing councillor in the electoral area as their qualifying address whereas none of them lived or worked in the area. Now that is electoral fraud.

I do not want to see Biden in the White House because he is an IRA supporter and has strong links to that organisation. It is even thought that he may have been on their ruling council several years ago.

At one election I caught out several lib dems and I reported it to the returning officer, I could prove it but he refused to take any action. I found out after the election that the returning officer had unsuccessfully stood for election himself previously for...…………..the lib dems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But we have seen electoral fraud Craig. We saw it with the student vote and we saw it with voting cards being removed in bulk from university halls of residence by individuals. We have seen similar in old age persons homes and many other incidents. We have seen it in Tower Hamlets and in Birmingham.

I agree with you, the EA stopped dredging the rivers in the Sedgmore area to protect the wildlife and caused huge flooding a few years ago.

Since resuming,the area has not flooded so you are right by saying that they do not understand rivers.

I just hope that our MP,s read treads such as this!!!!

Every time we have heavy rain the area floods and the inspectors were shown countless photos of it in full flood but still they allowed the appeal. I have to ask again, why, are they stupid or is there another reason!

My local council objected to a build site for 300 houses on a flood plain behind Burnham Station along with hundreds of local people but the developers appealed and won permission, why?
