Congratulations to Mary and Thomas Jones!!! The mystery is solved and the clues are now understood. Looks like none of us bloggers solved the mystery. Have to say, though, that the clues were quite vague and kept everyone guessing, dreaming, and hoping. As Mary and Thomas go off to see their new home, the rest of us can go off to see what is awaiting the next HGTV winner.

We have similar tastes. I too, like the rustic modern and I also loved screened porches and cozy living room fireplaces. Good luck to you. I live in a place where Monica has already been and it is not HOT here in the Pacific NW so I am not looking for Monica. I am hopeful that the winner will be a blogger, though.

It is not sundress weather where I live so I don't expect Monica to appear at my doorstep. It sure would be nice though, to find out if the winner was ambushed. As far as hometowns go, Monica may not be referring to where the person currently lives and may be referring to where the person grew up. Just a thought for those who are still hoping to get a visit from Monica.
