Just jailbreaked iOS 7.0.4 on iPhone 4S in 12 minutes (including 3 reboots) with Evasi0n 1.0.1, no data- restoring afterwards, no white Cydia icon, no mixed- up icons- great.

Absinthe 2.04 worked flawlessly. Only at the end 'if you want to retry to jailbreak re-plug your iPhone' But Cydia was installed. Now let's see what OpenBackup can do.

Error 21 on a PC (Win7) , different Cables, USB Ports, Router Ports 80 and 435 open, firewall disabled, different Computers, different Networks, antivir disabled, drinking even more Coffe.... no positive results. I can not pwnDFU a A5 yet. Matter of time. Did not know OTA is generally impossible for jb devices.

I am perplex. My iPhone 4s jb, on 5.0.1 Factory unlocked won't update to 5.1.1, not via iTunes, not by shift/restoring, not directly over the air. Any ideas? Can I use redsn0w, go into pwnDFU Mode and UPDATE via redsn0w with a 'normal' .ipsw? I know this is not 'the update Blog' but no update - no jailbreak. Thanks a lot.

Next idea: put iPad into pwnDFU Mode with redsn0w. then restore to 5.1.1 using shift/restore in iTunes. Found this one in a Blog
