I can tell you this is the first year in a loooong time that i've felt Live to be better than 2K overall. There is no arguing that 2K10 has the better low post game, as well as association mode and presentation, but lets be real about it's short comings..... Yeah there are some issue within the game but so are they in 2K so there really is no argument there. I picked up 2K10 and had to trade it in because it just didn't feel right and after playing Live it's obvious that Live gets floor spacing, 2K is still to crowded even after reducing the player model sizes. wouldn't it be something if both companies would deliver what they promise instead of spending money on hype. I'm not giving up as I prefer this years Live but here's my suggestion for next year. Stay off of twitter, don't worry about what 2K is doing or not doing. Don't work to be better than NBA 2k, make the best NBA sim period. What we should not hear after NBA Live 11 is out. We didn't have time for...? We couldn't get that to work so it will be in NBA Live 12. Oh and stop charging $60 for an unfinished product (that goes for both companies). And we don't care who is on the cover promoting the game, it's just not convincing anymore ie. 2K's fail at using Kobe ;) NBA Live dev's you have been out on notice. I know in mike wangs tutorial it say use this at the 18' mark but trust me you can use it a lot closer and when you do you'll get those calls you are missing. The biggest thing you want to do though is scout your teams individual player DNA, it's possible you aren't getting a lot of those contact shots to drop because of the players tendencies when driving. I had no problem with any lay-ups or dunks, in fact it seemed smoother getting to the lane. CPU is more aggressive driving the lane, better pass interception/deflection ai. What's ironic is after all the shit talk between the two companies in my opinion EA has basically pulled a page right from 2k and seem to have vanished. Live has some major issues and they need to at the very least address that they are aware of them in one of their blogs. For example how does goaltending points not being counted get overlooked by a whole team of developers, this is mind boggling to me. With EA it always seems to be something fundamental that keeps this title from taking that next leap forward. With 2K in my opinion it's fan bass allows them to not be concerned with take big leaps forward. 2K should be in a lot better shape than it is now. The truth is nether of these titles warrant a $60 price tag, not when year after year both titles release incomplete. I think what needs to be realized is that there simply isn't enough time to meet deadline goals for a complete product.
