KOMO - Seattle, WA : Cheerleaders to unveil demure uniforms after complaints | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

Now, I guess I was misunderstood, (and of course I am an adult) - Can my daughter wear an outfit like the cheerleaders from Idaho? - No way -she can't even wear mini-skirts as far as our family decides. She can wear skorts- at LEAST. BUT the cheerleaders' outfits is their decision and whatever "floats there boat". It ain't my boat. And THAT is my "opinion". I don't post opinions, I post comments. (I think you need to read my comment again. )

Soooooooo, cheerleaders have to be really, incredibly thin? I know many girls who have a little bit of "woman-ness" to them who are cheerleaders. They can't wear those skimpy outfits, y'know. The outfits the University of Idaho cheerleaders really don't bother me. But you have to be really thin, hard bodied, and "healthy". Many women with meat can't be a cheerleader in Idaho. On the side, the way a woman's body needs to look is very hard to keep it up. From a woman- it's sad. Anorexia and bulemic problems precentage is really, really high. It keeps rehab businesses alive and runnin'! Just sharin'

I strongly disagree. Breeds of dogs are different, and yes - many times (EXPECIALLY in pitt bulls), owners are sometimes at blame. Pitt bulls are an agressive breed. Have you ever heard of a Golden Retriever attack? On many occasions of pitt bull attacks, the owners say that their pitt bull dog is really nice, and they couldn't believe their dog would hurt another person. (SOME owners are absolutely insane, y'know.) If you investigate dog attacks and the owners, you would be very surprised what dogs you will find. (I do find stereo typing pitt bull owners is an ignorant thought. Many abusive dog owners have many different breeds.) However, I really don't want to push anyone's button, or make anyone mad, but the amount of pitt bull attacks is large. I mean - LARGE. Count them. (I am not an ignorant or uniformed person myself.) I'm just sharing.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Parents not told of teen\'s \'hit list\' for months | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | News

Yes, the boy who wrote the hitlist was probably bullied. I wouldn't think of another reason why he made a "hitlist". Some of the kids might be bullies, but some may not be. Who knows? I don't pick a side. Of course, the parents of the boy was informed, but the others were not. BUT, If my kid was the bullied child and made a "hitlist", I would pull him out of school right away, and he would never return. However, those parents with their children lives threatens need the report immediately! The school is way out of line. If my kids were the victims on the "hitlist" would be pulled out and never return to that school. I would be extremely irate. Who would be able to sent their kids to a school with a boy who might want to kill them without any information on the threat? Both children would give a second chance to pull things together at a new school (I hope!).

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Help-wanted ad for nanny: 'My kids are a pain' | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Offbeat

Are there "parents" anywhere? Yeeeeears ago, kids are raised by a mom and a dad- those are called "parents", not a nanny. Apparently, the child has the nanny as the parent. The biological parents aren't in the eyes of their children. You guys made that baby-raise it. Both of you guys are all the kids want and needed. You are responsible. How the heck can you have a baby and not raise it? "My kids are a pain...." Soooo, someone else has to raise the offspring?????

So, anyway - do we tickets to put macscara on, a little bit of lip gloss, or lipstick? Eat a hamburger and drink a pop, too? Do we get a ticket for taking a big swig of our lattes? Or hey - a nice big lollypop! Maybe with a little pomeranian on our lap? Maybe we shouldn't wave our hands around during a conversation. I think it is better just to hold a phone.
KOMO - Seattle, WA : Seven chimps finally step foot into outside world | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

I do understand the importance of the chimps to do the experimental tests. But I just don't understand why the doctors keep them in little cages. I kind of lean into science studies, but I do NOT lean into a little concrete cage. Maybe something like the zoo environment? That would give them something. It's hard to think of animals so much similar to a human living like that. Really - it's insane.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Stormy weather bookends Seattle's Monday | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

I've lived everywhere in america. But, this is my native grounds, and my Italian family lives all over this area. This is not where I want to live. The weather is a dud. Hardly thunderstorms, never tornados, (there are some winds, y'know - but they're not exciting), socked-in fogs for weeks sometimes, no kewl snakes, no scary spiders. We're just a little breed out here on the west side of the Cascades. I'll never leave my family. So I'm stuck here. Blaaaaaahhhh.

I don't know why he hasn't received life in the 3 murders before? He should receive life. Molesting children is very hard for criminals in prison, but adding a brutal, indecievable murder to the children, is a death sentence. Most drug dealers in prison have children and, like Jeff Dahmer, it will be brutal and probably he won't last long in prison. .

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Teens watch in horror as student is gunned down in high school cafeteria | KOMO News - Seattle, Wash

(sorry-my computer always wants me to split my comment) Some children are raised by daycares now. I worked in daycares before I had kids. It is aweful to see a child going through yelling A LOT from 'teachers', crying children, biting, fighting, and taking care of themselves in the enviorment. It is bad. Really bad. Seeing children wailing and stretched their arms out for their mom or dad leaving for work. The parents leave them, smiling, "it's alright - I'll be back". To see it, to live it - I knew it then. They're force to walk down the wrong path without even knowing it. We know little kids are sponges - they suck it up. After I was married, I stayed home to take care of the kids - like my mom did. After three kids, I was unsuddenly a single mother . I thought I could go back into the job and take care of my young daughter at the daycare. I quit that job immediatly. Before she started school, she was taking care of by my family. It really changed from the daycares! If any of you are sending your child to a daycare- please consider this comment for you.

There are a lot of ways of living now are a big part of the percentage of violence from children. As I have witness, like I commented a few days ago about our society getting worse and worse in the violence from teens. Mother's do not stay at home anymore to be a homemaker and take care of their children. It sounds like a lazy job to other people nowadays. But a mother's job at home is equal to the job a father has. A few decades ago, the old fashioned way of living is a secure homelife and a safe home for children. Now, mothers work. And some parents are single, and it is very, very hard.
