You are confused. Ben, what the hell does the surge in iraq do for us? Nothing. We are no safer now than we were before the war started. As a matter of fact Al Quida is stronger and is centralized in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The point i am making is F the surge. Get the hell out of Iraq move a few brigades to Afghanistan and Pakistan and bring the rest of our troops home and start fixing the problems in our own country. check this video out: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/25823434#...

Leonardo your funny. I respect your opinion but you too are incorrect. Opinion based on assumption is not acceptable. I have given you the facts about the mortgage crisis and not assumptions. It is not the fault of consumers. The blame rests on government and special interest groups. So it is only fitting that the government fix the problem they created. No one is doubting that the surge along with many other factors has helped decreased violence in iraq. See video. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/25823434#...

My delivery is bad but my content is accurate.I can seethis is going to be anedifying conversation. I happen to have a bit of experience in the mortgage field. The majority of people that signed those loans are A paper borrowers with 620+ fico scores.ThoseNeg am loans were actually very good loans at the time. The problem occurred when the indexes that the loans were tied to started to go up dramaticallyas the property values declined. Many of these borrowers were able to make their mortgage payments with ease until the loans recast and they lost their payment options and were forced into a fully amortized payment at the higher interest rates. This could have been an easy fix. Just let them refinance into a fixed loan but most of them couldn't because of restrictions placed on underwriting criteria by fannie mae and feddie mac. Also many of the wholesale lenders were uncooperative and would not consider fixing the existing loan at the current rate. Many people in the industry blame the special interest groups in washington that control these REIT's.(Real Estate Investments Trusts), or the large insurance companies, because that is where the money comes from. These rich people took advantage of us consumers and the government did nothing to stop it because many of them were getting paid by these groups. This not my theory, this is fact. The foreclosure crisis also had collateral damage due to the fact that when your neighbor foreclosed, the bank re=sold the property for a lesser price. This price reduction resulted in the existing homeowners not being able to refinance themselves due to excessively high LTV's(loan to value). I own several homes here in San Diego that were negatively affectedby this crisis. I really want you to understand because many people don't. Like McCain. He is so out of touch and doesn't have a clue when it comes to fixing this problem.

Since we agree on the boarder issue, i will move on to the next subject. Regardless of what your price of gas is, the fact remains that it has doubled during the period of the Iraq war. It is not only affecting consumers at the pump, it is also causing food prices to increase significantly and the travel industry has been devastated as well.Thousands of airline employees are loosing jobs. Many people in the trucking industry are loosing jobs. I could go on and on but you get the picture. I also want to point out that the minimum wage in this country was stagnant for many years until recently congress finally increased it. So many people were working, but couldn't support themselves due to our struggling economy. You are wrong about our public schools. It is a fact that not only are they not getting the funds needed for a decent facility but also teachers salaries are inadequate and do not motivate aspiriring teachers to do their job. Barrack has a detailed plan for our educational system.FYI his sister is a teacher in the public school system.

One thing i admire most about Barrack Obama is that he has anexistential and rational way of thinking. He will be our next president and there is nothing you or i can do to stop it. It is time for change. Out with the old and in with the new.

Respectfully,

xxxxxxxxxxx

P.S If there is anything in this email you don't understand i will be happy to elaborate further.

I will try to send you a video regarding McCain and his interview about the surge details. It truly hillarious

Im going to educate all you right wing fanatics that think the surge was and is a success. First of all we should have never gone to iraq. Secondly, we have suffered over 4000 casualties and over 30,000 injured, our military is streched thin, Al Quida is still strong and centralized in Afghanistan and Pakistan and is beieved to be getting stronger. Our own country is being neglected. Our economy is in turmoil. Hundreds of thousands of people are loosing their homes due to the mortgage crisis. . The price of gas is over $4.00 a gallon. Unemplyment is higher than its ever been. Just think if those billions of dollars was spent shoring up our own boarders, securing our airports and ports. Strengthening our military, giving our kids a better education, rebuilding our infrastructure. If you think we are winning anything, you are just as blind as John McCain and George Bush. God Help us if McCain Is our President.
