This is quite funny, especially the part about the multiple-acre uranium plant that he gets to from a tunnel in his bedroom. So ridiculous.

Robert, this is a great post. It's amazing to me how much chemistry is involved in cooking regardless of whether people realize it or not. I don't think I'll be trying to make liquid nitrogen ice cream anytime soon but the fizzy fruit sounds fascinating..

Robert, I'm sure there are all sorts of experiences out there with different types of VPs - some more approachable and receptive to ideas from newbies than others. I would imagine you to be receptive to any GOOD idea.
