i was not going to mention this, but in November when it was all over the news, a child I know came forward and told he/she had been molested. This child is 11 and the molestation occurred five yrs ago. The child became aware it was ok to tell by hearing on the news that if you tell, it may prevent it from happening to other kids. Since that time the molestor in this case has plead guilty and will soon be in prison. Long story short, the Sandusky case has already helped others come forward. I hope it continues to do so.
Exactly!!! Each victim has to serve a life sentene of their own thanks to this monster.
That's a good one!! Thumbs up to you!
One more serial child molestor put away, thank goodness. but there are so many many more that will never put away. This is mainly because victims are too ashamed and traumatized to tell. It breaks my heart.
No doubt there are more victims. Many never tell. It's shameful and very traumatic to relive this type of abuse. I hope there is no second trial and I hope each victim receives whatever is necessary to heal.
Wow that's a really good age progression photo. Hard to believe it's been 2 years. Seems like yesterday I was hearing about this nightmare. My hopes are still that Kyron will be found soon. This family has been through enough. Does anyone know if Terri has made any attempt to see her daughter, Kiara. That's what's odd about this case to me. If she cares so little about seeing Kiara, then she cares even less about Kyron.
Great resources in this article..thanks KATU!
That has been my gut feeling since early on in this case. It always seemed more probable to me that he was taken by someone who was at the school that day like maybe one of those landscapers. Whoever took him had about a 7 or 8 hour head start before anyone even started looking for him. Sad.
Glad everything "came out" alright.
