While I have been and continue to be an ardent supporter of the president elect, I do not agree with the proposal to give a 500 or 1,000 dollar tax cut. It didn't make a difference the last time it was given, and I didn't need it then and I don't need it now.
Find a way to use that money to either help the economy in general, or find a way to use the money to help the people who are losing their homes. Rebuild the infrastructure, absolutely. Bring school buildings up to date, for sure. Create jobs, certainly. But don't give money to people who don't need it, and don't give money to people who will either save it or pay of existing debt. Why not give a larger tax break to people for example who will buy an American made car? Why not give a tax break to people who buy a new refridgerator, or remodel their house, or who other wise put money into the economy where it is needed?
