<description>I agree completely. How much does humane animal euthansia by a vet cost though?  Probably more than he could afford since he obviously couldn&amp;#039;t afford to feed them. However, now he&amp;#039;s got to pay $6250.00 plus face possible jail time. Very expensive to starve your livestock. What a terrible waste.  </description>

<description>Stories like these should always encourage people to contact animal rescue organizations before it gets this desparate. Others reading this might find themselves on the brink of catastrophe in their own animal caretaking efforts. The cost of feed is astronomical. Some livestock and pet owners are finding themselves in dire situations this winter. At our local feedstore,there is a binder completely full of free horse ads. People just can&amp;#039;t afford to feed and care for them. I&amp;#039;m glad this guy is being punished, he deserves it. On the other hand, there has to be a safe way out for people who have taken on too much and fear reprisal if they ask for help,  </description>
