I'm a Hoosier, but I spend a couple of months a year in Vancouver, and while the outer edges of the city are a nice place to visit, the seedier neighborhoods downtown are a monument to the ignorance of socialists and their ilk. They give away clean needles to a population that hardly needs one more "atta boy" when it comes to rampant drug use. They've mollycoddled the squeegee types so much that they're not above demanding cash from you and taking a poke at you if they don't get it. And the political correctness has seen to it that minority citizens have grown a chip on their should so broad that you dare not even make eye contact for fear of starting an "incident."
