KOMO - Seattle, WA : Boeing strike likely to run into November at least | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Boeing#IDComm

Continued... Keep in mind people, more than 87 percent of the U.S. civilian workforce is NON UNION. Most of those people do not understand this incredibly hostile "Us vs. Them" mentality that is the lifeblood of organized labor. These are the people who fly on your employer's products. You all are damn lucky that these comments are mostly seen locally in Seattle, where the Boeing name is very powerful. From the outside looking in, you guys scare the *$^& out of me. I don't ever, EVER want to get on an airplane that's built in the first couple months after this strike ends. Who KNOWS what could go wrong with a workforce this bitter.

I've been reading these discussions since the beginning of the strike. Reading the comments of some of the union people here makes me seriously question my preference for flying on Boeing aircraft. Do I REALLY want to get on an airplane that was put together by people this full of anger, bitterness and hatred toward their employer? People who are supposedly highly skilled but are not well versed enough in first grade math to understand that they're losing MUCH more than they are gaining? People who behave like old-time union thugs from the 20s and 30s, threatening physical violence toward those who voted against the strike in the first place and now want to return to work so their families don't go hungry or they don't lose their homes?
