Like I said before why wouldn’t someone fear for their life if they have to worry about people from a different religion and from a country thousands of miles away wanting to kill them and their allies? Now I know that not every Muslim and person of the Islamic faith feel the need to kill all “the infidels”. But when people see videos totally dedicated to showing people of one religion and ethnicity wanting to harm pretty much everyone that doesn’t agree with them or give them what they want people are going to fear them. To me I find it completely normal for people to fear what they do. Just look at the violence people of the Islamic faith display from the bombings to the beheadings of people that don’t agree with them. Their primary mission is to instill fear into their enemy’s. And to me I think they have done a very good job at putting fear into the hearts and minds of their enemy’s. I think that Americans and their allies need to keep strong and go on with their normal lives and try not to let the terrorists win.

After watching this video it is clear to me what Americans fear and why they have fear for these things. Every normal person would be at least a little scared if they saw videos of people from a different country in the streets with signs like the ones in that video. Or they could have the fear of being bombed either in their own country or while somewhere else. Honestly I think people should be scared in the video I had 28 bombings from 1979 to 2005. How can just these facts alone not put fear into you. Just think these 28 bombings don’t even count the bombings in Iraq and Afghanistan that happen nearly every day. The video doesn’t account for the service members lost or wounded in those explosions either. I think that America and its people have every right to fear what they do. From the video I think I can say that Americans fear dying or losing loved ones to terror attacks.

. The men and women volunteer to serve our country so that the people who don’t want to don’t have to. So we should help those people and support them in whatever way we can. Most of us have no idea the stress that these people have to go through and the memories they have to live with. I think that we should take more responsibility and help our service members out by being more involved when they return home from a tour. We can’t just abandon our service members. We can’t do what we did during Vietnam. To me there is no reason why we shouldn’t help out our service members, they all have given us something and some of them have given everything they can give. So in their time of need the people of America need to give just a little bit to help those that have given us all so much no matter your beliefs or what your political views are our military members need our help. We have a responsibility to help our men in women in need.

To me the movie we watched in class on PTSD in the military really hit home. I have been in the military for over 3 years and one of the main concerns with troops coming home is how difficult it can be for them to re-adjust to life outside of the battle field. We are constantly having classes on how to pick up on signs of depression and post deployment issues. It really affects me and touches me because these are my brothers pretty much my family coming home carrying all this baggage from war. We recently had a deployment come home. One of our main concerns was to make sure that our men were doing ok and getting back into the motion of life. I think that the people of America need to start taking more actions to help the men and women that serve our country. To me it shouldn’t matter if you agree with the war or not or if you agree with what the government says.

No man should emotionally or physically abuse a woman, to me there should be no reason way a man especially should hit a woman. No matter how mad she couldn’t make you or how bad she could hurt you. You should be able to keep your composure and have enough self-control not to put your hands on a girl. On the other hand I think that a girl shouldn’t take advantage of kindness. There are plenty of girls out there that see weakness in kindness. I’m sure we all know a few girls that think really nice guys are a turn off. I know with me and my girlfriend if I do something nice for her I enjoy doing it I enjoy making her happy and making her feel loved and cared for. I also know that she appreciates everything I do for her. Maybe the “golden rule” comes into play here. Treat someone as you would want to be treated. I know if I’m good to her she’ll be good to me.

To me there are many types of relationships, good ones, bad ones, pointless ones. I totally agree with what the writer of this letter says about what a man should be. To me a good respectable man should treat his companion the best he can in every way he can. In my eyes men should treat girls with respect and do all the “old fashion” stuff like hold doors, offer their jacket, and all the little stuff in-between, I do not believe chivalry is dead. I agree with everything the writer says and I’m not sure why. I don’t know if it’s how I was brought up, the movies I watched or any other reason. All I know is that I believe that men should protect their girlfriend, wife, or what have you. I am in a serious relationship right now and I can honestly say that I would do anything for my girlfriend. It’s not just because I love her, to me it’s what I feel is right and what she deserves. She deserves to feel safe and not have to worry about me and what I am doing, we have mutual trust.

We all know that our country has a laundry list of issues going on. I believe that if people and businesses that are obviously better off than others helped out we could cut this list in half. What ever happened to doing the right thing donating, charities, community service? Helping out even a little really goes a long way. There really needs to be a change here or were all going to suffer in the end. To me in the people that are better off don’t step up and give back then they won’t have a country to build their second mansion in or drive their fifth car in. To me the people that could really help out are people in the entertainment industry, big businesses, and the people that to me just have way to much money on their hands. It doesn’t matter how hard those people have worked or in some cases “stole” from the American people they have no need to keep millions and billions of dollars in their own pockets. Do the right thing; help out so we can all prosper!

I agree with Sam on this one. There is an obvious problem with people in power helping out their friends. To me it all boils down to greed. They people in power just can get enough and to me that’s wrong. If the people in power would just stop thinking about themselves and what their next car is going to be and help out this country and its people a little bit more then we wouldn’t have so many problems. That’s just my opinion. Even though they “worked hard” doesn’t mean they can’t give back a little. I’m sure we all know people that have worked just as hard and still struggle to get by, or people that are just in a rut. Why do these people have to just barely get by and people in power keep everything to themselves? Do you seriously need that much money, do you seriously need a fifth car or second mansion. These people need to stop giving breaks to their friends and start helping out!

I also think that you can believe in God and worship him without going to church. It’s all about the relationship people have with god and Jesus on a personal level. To me this is a big part to my argument. Church isn’t necessary but it doesn’t hurt. The article and video talk about the fall in religion belief, even though the numbers say that the belief in religion is falling and that people “don’t fear God” I think that people fear and worship him just as much as they did in years past. Religion plays a huge part in people’s lives just like it did hundreds of years ago. Look at the middle-east all the wars that are based off the different views of people’s religion. To me religion will never die no matter how hard the times get or how far the stats drop there will always be people fallowing in religions and displaying their beliefs. Religions survived thousands of years what makes our generation or our future any different.

After watching the video on the theory of dying religion I can honestly say that I think religion will never die out completely. I can say this and also believe it at the same time. The first reason I believe that religion will never die is that kids are still going to church and going to school either to be a pastor, priest, or what have you. I personally have a friend that went to and graduated from Zion Bible College. At the age of 23 he is now a pastor and a church. I talked with him about his college and he said the student population was about three hundred. He said that everyone goes either to be a pastor or to do other ministry work. That to me is proof that religion will never die. People my age still going to church during these hard times proves to me that religion will never die. Take a look at the churches down south that have hundreds of followers per service and multiple services a week. There will always be people to carry on religion and its purpose and importance.
