<title>Healthy Eats (Old Site) : Chicken Wings, Lightened Up</title>
<link>http://blog.healthyeats.com/blog/2010/02/02/chicken-wings-lightened-up/#IDComment55214348</link>
<description>After years of experimenting I came up with a very healthy and delicious version of hot wings. Take two dozen chicken wings and cut off the wingtip. Put on a foil lined sheet pan sprayed with non-stick canola oil. Bake skin side up at 400 deg. for 1/2 hour. Remove from oven and drain off any liquid from the pan. Mix 1/2 cup Smart Balance Light Spread, 1/3 cup Frank&amp;#039;s Hot Sauce and 1/3 cup Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce in a glass measuring cup and microwave until melted. Blend thoroughly. Brush this sauce liberally on wings and return to 400 deg. oven for 20minutes. Remove from oven and turn skin side down and baste again. Do this every 20minutes (turning and basting) until the chicken is very tender and has gotten a deep brown. Baste with any of the remaining sauce and remove to serving platter. No dipping sauce needed!! </description>
