In many cases anonymous comments are very negative and hateful. They don't lead to a good discussion of a subject and only serve the anonymous commentators agenda.

I agree, it's not worth it yet. In a year it could be worth it. We'll see. But I will say, the iPad is very cool toy! Much more fun than a netbook. :)

Had a chance to play around with an iPad. It is a very cool device. Even with all the shortcomings that I mentioned, I was tempted to get one... I am extremely excited to see the tablet/slate inovation in the next year. Apple has created another category that people and businesses have to pay attention to.

Google has unofficially announced that they will be getting into the table business... This is what I was anticipating. Up to this point we have HP, Google, and Apple. Pretty good company.

Exactly, I think tablets are the future, but they will evolve significantly over the next couple of years and 1st generation iPad will become obsolete very quickly.

I would wait to see what Apple announces and to see what new phones appear on the Adroid platform. They seem to be releasing a new phone every month or so... the Droid is ancient already! :) Thanks for the Comment! I will try to post more frequently!

I'm not sure about tethering on the Droid, you're able to do it on the iPhone just have to find the latest hack to open the service up. I know what you mean about the network, that's the main reason for my switch. At a certain point you can't take it anymore! haha I would think that ATT would step their game up but one thing that might be happening is that they never imagined that the iPhone would be this popular so their network was not ready for this much strain... who knows..
