I have tried to reply to some of the postings about the battery issue. And I cannot see that they are posted. so I am going to post this as a comment. Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.... do this and it will fix your battery issue. I too had the draining issue and my wife did too. I did the Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings and the battery now lasts longer than it did with 2.2.1!! Try it I swear it worked for me, I was going threw 3 charges a day when I first updated to 3.0, now my battery is at 50% at the end of the day. I think the iphone retains the network settings from before, and like the majority of us, be restored from a back-up to get our contacts, sms, etc. I suppose the phone is looking for all of the previos settings, and using the new settings, with ultrasn0w, and draining the battery, I am really not sure why all of us had the problem, but thats what worked for me! Let me know if it worked for you as well! --Jim (Chicago)

if you do the Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.... it will fix the battery issue. I did that and it worked. From what I understand... the phone retains all of its network settings if you restore from a back-up.. like most of us did. The phone kills its battery looking for the settings from the 2.2. I reset everything in the network settings, and poof battery is awesome better than 2.2... let me know if it worked for you. I did this on my phone 3g 16GB and my wifes phone 3g 8GB and no issues after I did that. -Jim
