GET OUT! Jill, I've been eating the leftovers of this recipe with a side of cheesy grits for breakfast these last two mornings. I'm really diggin' this combo, too. It's WAY BETTER than eating cold cereal and I haven't had mid-morning munchies, either.

My next green to try is mustard greens. I can't wait!

Simple Daily Recipes : Simple Crawfish Etouffe

When I was a kid, I would catch crawdads with a piece of bacon tied on an end of a string. That was fun!

These days, I just buy them cleaned & frozen at the grocery store. Not near as much fun, but

••••••

Jill
Creative Genius

Simple Daily Recipes : Brazilian Black Beans

The Chimichurri Sauce sounds delicious! I could totally taste that over grilled steak or chicken...*drooling* Of course, the black beans sound delicious, too. I'm surprised it takes 45 minutes to cook them in a pressure cooker. Is that because you're cooking an entire package? How large is the package you speak of? A one pound bag? In the owner's manual for Presto pressure cookers, it says that soaking beans overnight is not necessary when using a pressure cooker. So, I never soak them overnight, nor do I use the quick-soak method when I cook beans in a pressure cooker. Oh sure, there's the flatulence issue. But let's keep it real, my family is musical no matter what they eat. No amount of soaking can stop them. ;D
